Getting to Hood River

While renting a car is the easiest way to get from PDX to Hood River, there are a few other options: 1) You can get from Portland to Hood River by public transit. The journey takes about 2 hours. Take the Max Red Line from PDX to the Gateway Transit Center. From the Gateway Transit center you can take the Columbia Gorge Express to Hood River. Columbia Area Transit also operates buses around Hood River. Please check the lightrail and bus schedules prior to the trip as the schedule and fare may change between now and then. https://www.ridecatbus.org/columbia-gorge-express/ Note: We are providing a shuttle from select hotels to the wedding venue. More information on shuttles will be available closer to the wedding. 2) While taking an Uber to Hood River from PDX airport is possible, please note that Uber does not serve Hood River for those looking to return to the PDX airport. Guests are highly encouraged to rent cars and/or carpool with other wedding attendees if you do not wish to take public transit! 3) Gorge Taxi: this is the primary taxi cab company that serves Hood River and they do provide transportation to PDX airport from Hood River. Shuttle from Hood River to Venue

We are providing a shuttle between Hood River and our venue, Gorge Crest Vineyards, before and after the wedding. Shuttle Stops in Hood River : ++ Best Western Plus Hood River Inn - pick up at 3:15pm ++ Hampton Inn & Suites Hood River - pick up at 3:10pm ++ Sunset Motel - pick up at 3:10pm ++ In front of Full Sail Brewing (506 Columbia Street, Hood River, OR) - pick up at 3:15pm Please arrive to the shuttle pick up locations 5 minutes before the scheduled pick up time. If parking near Full Sail Brewing, please arrive with enough time to find parking! The shuttle will make two return trips to Hood River in the evening at 9pm and 10-10:15pm.
