Which side of the Columbia River has the best accomadations?

Answer

We will be getting married at Gorge Crest Vineyards in Underwood, Washington. There are not many hotels on the Washington side of the river so we recommend staying across the river in Hood River, Oregon. All other pre and post wedding events will take place in Hood River as well. See the "Travel" tab for our hotel recommendations.

Can I bring a date?

If we have reserved a space for your plus one, it will be indicated on your Save the Date and invitation.

As much as we love your little ones, the wedding will be a 21+ event.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire! Longer/midi length dresses for women and suits for men. The ceremony will take place on a grass lawn and some of the walkways on the property are gravel, so wedges, chunky heels, or flats are preferred. The Gorge can be a little windy, especially after the sun goes down, so a light jacket or shawl is also recommended!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will be providing shuttle transportation from four locations in Hood River up to the venue, Gorge Crest Vineyards, before and after the wedding. There is limited parking at our venue, so taking the shuttle is highly recommended. Three of the pick up locations are at our recommended hotels (more information on "Travel" tab). You are welcome to book other accommodations but will be responsible for getting yourself to these shuttle pick up locations. ++ Best Western Plus Hood River Inn - pick up at 3:15pm ++ Hampton Inn & Suites Hood River - pick up at 3:10pm ++ Sunset Motel - pick up at 3:10pm ++ In front of Full Sail Brewing (506 Columbia Street, Hood River, OR) - pick up at 3:15pm Please arrive to the shuttle pick up locations 5 minutes before the scheduled pick up time. If parking near Full Sail Brewing, please arrive with enough time to find parking! The shuttle will make two return trips to Hood River in the evening at 9pm and 10-10:15pm.

Yes, there is parking at the venue. The parking lot is limited in size, so we recommend carpooling or taking the provided shuttle.
