Traveling from New York City? Driving: from NYC, Exit 21 on I-87/New York State Thruway. (~2.5 hours) Bus: Adirondack Trailways runs from NYC’s Port Authority Bus Terminal to the Windham bus stop. (~4 hours) Train: Amtrak operates daily between NYC’s Penn Station and Hudson, NY– a 40-minute drive from Windham. You can rent a car or get a taxi from there. (~3 hours) Traveling from Albany? Driving: from Albany International Airport, take I-87 S to NY-23 W. (~1 hour) Bus: Adirondack Trailways (531) can be taken from Albany to Kingston, and then transfer to Adirondack Trailways (104) to the Windham bus stop. (~3.5 hours) Train: Amtrak operated daily between Albany-Rensselaer and Hudson, NY - a 40-minute drive from Windham. You can rent a car or get a taxi from there. (~2 hours) You can also fly into smaller airports such as White Plains (HPN) or Hartford (BDL), if convenient for you.
