FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

Kindly RSVP by August 10th, 2025. If you cannot attend, we will miss you dearly and would appreciate you letting us know at your earliest opportunity. Those that do not RSVP by August 1st, 2025, we may be unable to accommodate your presence at the wedding, as we will send final head counts to vendors shortly after the deadline.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones, but we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event. We encourage you to use this evening to have a fun date night!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited venue capacity, we are unable to accommodate plus ones at our wedding unless specifically indicated on your envelope. If you are uncertain, when you RSVP and type in your name, you will see your plus one populate there if you have been given one. We appreciate your understanding!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We kindly request that guests dress in formal cocktail attire. Men should wear suits with ties, while women are encourged to wear formal dresses that can be long or short--elegant and sophisticated without being ballgowns. Think timeless, polished looks that complement the celebration. Also, feel free to bring along sneakers/comfy shoes for dancing at the reception. We want our guests to look and feel their best!

Question

Are there any colors that guests should avoid wearing?

Answer

Although this should be obvious, please avoid wearing white/majority white of any kind. The groom/groomsmen will be in navy suits and the bridesmaids will be in steel blue.

Question

What do I do if I'm late for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start PROMPTLY at 1 PM. We recommend you shoot for a 12:30-12:45 PM arrival so you have time to grab a program and find a seat. If you arrive late, the church has a viewing area in the vestibule from which you can see everyone process down the aisle, as we want to minimize distractions and be in the moment. Once the procession is over, feel free to come in and take a seat near the back. Thank you so much for understanding!

Question

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones/cameras?

Answer

We love photos and we know you do too! However, we are having an "unplugged" ceremony. We do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony and switch your phones and devices to silent/turned off. We will have a wonderful photographer present at the ceremony to capture those memories for us. For the remainder of the wedding (after the ceremony concludes), we encourage you to take and post as many photos as your heart desires!

Question

Is seating random?

Answer

Nope! For the ceremony, sit wherever you please. For the reception, however, we will be carefully arranging the tables so our guests are sitting with those they know/have things in common with. We know weddings are a mixing pot of guests and we want to ease any anxieties for those who may be a bit more introverted. Please trust we have thought this over very carefully.

Question

Is it an open bar?

Answer

The bar will be complimentary during cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. Beverages of all kinds will be served.

Question

Since there will be alcohol, what do we do about driving?

Answer

We do NOT want anyone drinking and driving. We encourage Uber, Lyft or a taxi. The venue does not allow guests to leave their cars overnight. Please plan accordingly!

Question

Is there a gift registry?

Answer

We have found things we like available from many different vendors. We have tied them all together through our Zola registry. There is a tab at the top of our wedding website page to lead you to this registry. If you purchase something off of our registry, please don't forget to go back in and mark it as "I bought this already" as external registries can take up to 24 hours to sync. : )

Question

Will Anne be taking Niko's last name?

Answer

While Anne is thrilled to be marrying Niko, she will not be changing her last name. As a professional actor, Anne's current last name is central to how she markets herself and is recognized in her theatrical career. This decision allows her to maintain her professional identity.
