In March of 2021, Niko and Anne were both on the dating app, "Bumble," swiping and looking for potential matches. Anne swiped right on Niko because she saw his profile said he liked musicals (one of her main interests). Niko swiped right on Anne because he thought she "looked really pretty in her pictures." Niko and Anne messaged for a few days and seemed to be hitting it off via text. They agreed to meet in person (after Anne confirmed with mutual friend/bridesmaid Leanna that Niko was not a robot or a criminal) and met for the first time at Heritage Park. Given that there is now a wedding being planned, the rest is history!
