DO YOU HAVE A ROOM BLOCK?

Answer

We do! Ask for the Parrin & Cash room block when you call the hotel at 360.898.2200. Please see the travel section for more information.

HOW DO WE GET TO ALDERBROOK?

Answer

If you're coming from out of town, we recommend flying into Seattle-Tacoma International airport and renting a car. Alderbrook is 1 hour 30 minutes from Sea-Tac and Union, WA has very few options for Uber and Lyft. Please see Travel section for more details.

WHAT'S THE WEATHER GOING TO BE LIKE? IS IT GOING TO RAIN THE WHOLE TIME?

Answer

While June weather can vary year to year, in late June it should be quite pleasant. Typically, temperatures hover in the mid to low 70s during the day and cool off at night. The resort is near the water, so as always, bring layers.

WHAT'S THE DRESS CODE?

Answer

Cocktail attire. Dresses long or short, and suits and ties are great. Please no jeans, shorts, or flip flops.

CAN WE BRING OUR KIDS TO THE WEDDING?

Answer

Unfortunately, we won't be able to accommodate children at the ceremony or reception.

CAN WE BRING OUR KIDS TO THE WELCOME PARTY ON FRIDAY?

Answer

Yes indeed you can. We will leave it up to couples on how or if they want to organize childcare during the welcome party.

WHERE WILL THE WEDDING TAKE PLACE?

Answer

Weather permitting (we're feeling optimistic) the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be outdoors. Because of the noise ordinance, music and dancing will be indoors. There is lots of grass, so for our friends in heels, might we recommend a block heel?

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE FOR THE CEREMONY?

Please arrive at 4:30pm. The ceremony will start promptly at 5pm.

I HAVE A FOOD ALLERGY OR DIETARY RESTRICTION. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Answer

Please note any food allergies or restrictions on the RSVP. We will provide a space for you to do so.

IS THERE AN AFTER PARTY?

Answer

While there's no formal after party, rumor has it the hotel bar is open until 1 am.
