Most modern love stories seem to start with a swipe. We certainly fit that pattern. Two right swipes on Hinge and a couple of Reuben's brews later had us both thinking, "this could work." When Anne suggested going to the Seattle Aquarium on the second date and Nate responded with "I LOVE the aquarium," it would only take a couple of otter facts (they have pockets) and couple more brews for the deal to be all but sealed. But first, the real test was a commitment of extended time spent together, a feat of physical strength: a hike on Mount Pilchuck. Little did we know–mostly little did Anne know–that would be the very mountain where we'd get engaged three short years later. And here we are today. Looking forward to a wonderful celebration with our friends and family in what Hinge might call "definitive proof of the app's success."
