The Dawes House is in Evanston, a 20-minute drive from Chicago's North Side.
BY CAR:
If you drive, there is plenty of parking along the lake beside the house. It's also a relatively affordable Lyft/Uber/taxi ride from the North Side.
BY TRAIN:
You can take the Red Line all the way north to Howard, transfer to the Purple Line and walk from Dempster.
HOTELS:
We've reserved a block of hotel rooms at the Hilton Orrington Evanston, which is a five-minute drive or fifteen-minute walk from the Dawes House. Please contact Matt or Anne if you're interested in booking a room.
IMPORTANT COLLEGE SPORTS NOTE:
Northwestern's football team -- The Wildcats -- have a game the same day as the reception, so we recommend booking any Evanston-based hotel rooms in advance! If you'd prefer to attend the game rather than our wedding reception, we know a reputable scalper.
