Is this really on a Thursday?

Answer

Yes it is! We understand that a weekday wedding is odd, but the 23rd is a special day for us! This is a nighttime Thursday wedding, with an open bar, so if you're planning to party (which is encouraged), consider taking Friday off as well, and call an Uber or get a DD to drive home!

Will either of you be changing your names?

Answer

Nope! Our names are staying the same, so we would appreciate being called the newlyweds instead of "the Norbys" or "the Clarks"!

What is the dress code?

Answer

Please dress for a semi-formal/dressy casual wedding! The dress code will be similar to "Easter Sunday church". We love the idea of everyone wearing fancy wedding hats as well, although it is not mandatory! We do want to ask that white dresses are avoided (for obvious reasons), and that baby blue and mint green are avoided as well since these are for the wedding party!

But what about the bells on the RSVP? Are they part of the dress code?

If you mean the "I'll be there with bells on" option, we don't want you to wear real bells! From dictionary.com: "Ready to celebrate, eagerly, as in 'Of course I'll come; I'll be there with bells on.'"

Answer

I heard there is an age limit?

Answer

There is! We want everyone to have a fun and relaxing time at our wedding - this means the adults won't have to watch little kids the entire night! We are allowing invited guests over 10 years of age. This wedding will also be running late and we want everyone to stay as long as they can instead of having to take young children home early! We will be specifying who in each household is invited on the RSVPs!

What if I RSVP'd but I am not feeling well?

Answer

We will be organizing a way to film the ceremony for everyone unable to attend! Let us know if you want to see the video and we can send it over to you!

What about Covid-19?

Answer

We appreciate anyone who decides to get a covid test done before the wedding, but we understand how busy the doctors offices are with these new strains. We ask that if you aren't feeling well, please respect the other guests and stay home, there are several older or immunocompromised people attending!

What if I have a food allergy?

Answer

Please let us know ASAP if you have a food allergy we aren't aware of. As of now, we are including vegan and gluten-free options.

Do you have a registry?

There is a page on this website for the registry! However, we want to emphasize that gifts on that registry are not necessary! We have lived together for about 3 years so all of those are "wants", not "needs".

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Please don't add another person to your invitation without our approval! We are paying per person and are budgeting for a specific amount of people.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is parking at the Tapestry House!
