Travel Note
We don't recommend anyone flying in rent a car. All of our activities will be taking place in Center City Philadelphia and parking can be hard to find and/or expensive. We recommend you save yourself the hassle and plan on taking rideshares, cabs, or public transit!
Travel Note
Public transportation is a great way to get around Philadelphia. The Market Frankford Line (Colloquially: The El) and the Broad Street Line (Colloquially: The Subway) can easily move you around to most of the places you'll want to be, buses are also a good option, and if you're headed out to West Philly - take the trolley! You can buy a 3-Day Convenience Pass at a SEPTA Sales Office: https://www.septakey.org/info/buy-load-locator Or you can buy single tickets at the entrance to all Subway/El stops. You can also use cash (exact change: $2.50) on the bus and trolleys.
Train
Trains run between the airport and Center City Philadelphia every appx. 30 mins. It takes about 25 minutes to get to/from the airport on regional rail and can be a great option for folks flying in - you'll want to take the train to Suburban Station. It will cost >$10 and you can pay cash to the conductor after you board. If you'd prefer a taxi from the airport to Center City is a $30 flat fee and a rideshare will be comparable.
