FAQs

The Wedding Website of Anne Coleman and Travis Latzke
We know you might have a lot of questions about the resort, St. Thomas, or any of the islands in the area. We took the opportunity to answer a few to make your planning a bit easier. Take a look at our Things to Do tab for some ideas about activities. Please be sure to upload your negative COVID test within 5 days of your travel to the island at this link: https://usvitravelportal.com/ This is REQUIRED to enter into St. Thomas, but a negative COVID test is not required to return back to US Mainland.
Question

Do I need to take a COVID test before traveling to the Virgin Islands (including St Thomas)?

Answer

Yes, you are required to submit proof of a negative COVID test (taken within 5 days of you traveling to any of the Virgin Islands (St. Thomas, St John's, St. Croix). You submit your negative COVID test results at the US Virgin Islands Traveler Portal, found at this link: https://usvitravelportal.com/. You do NOT need to take a COVID test to get back to mainland US (back to MN). This is only required to enter the island. If you don't complete the test and submit your info in the US Traveler's Portal prior to arriving at St Thomas airport, you may be forced to purchase a rapid COVID test at the St Thomas airport at your own expense, or worst case- may be not permitted to leave the airport. Please make sure you make this a priority so you are able to smoothly arrive at St Thomas and start enjoying the island! :)

Question

Do I need a passport to get to and travel within the US Virgin Islands?

Answer

No, as a US Citizen, you don't need a passport to travel to the USVI. If you were to travel to the British Virgin Islands (BVI) nearby, you would need to have your passport with you.

Yes, St Thomas and St John have all public beaches, even those at Bolongo Bay Resort. So if you are staying at an AirBnB, you are able to come join us on Bolongo Bay Resort's beach or any of the other 40 beaches on St Thomas! Although the beaches are public, a few of the beaches have an entrance fee: on St Thomas: Magens Bay and Lindquist Beach have entrance fees, about $5 per person. on St Johns: Trunk Bay requires a small entrance fee as well.
