What is Dressy Casual attire?

Answer

Ladies, think brunch sundresses or an outfit you'd wear to dinner on vacation. You'll be on the sand so definitely avoid heels and go with flat sandals or shoes. Guys, think polos and chinos. Nothing too fancy, but there will be a photographer present, so we'd prefer a slightly more elevated look than shorts and a t-shirt.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Yes, we understand it's a long way to travel on your own for some of you so if you'd like to bring a partner or friend along, please do! We just ask that you RSVP accordingly. Reach out if Zola's RSVP system doesn't prompt you to enter their name.

Are children welcome to attend?

Answer

Feel free to bring your little ones, or leave them at home for a well-deserved evening off! There are about 7 babies and toddlers invited if that influences your decision.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

As you might know, in Belgium there is always a chance of rain. We're hoping it will be low 70s F/20s C and sunny but the party will go on regardless! As the date approaches and you start your journey, we suggest you monitor the weather here: https://www.wunderground.com/weather/be/koksijde No matter the forecast, we suggest you bring a jacket because temperatures will drop at night and our venue is mostly outdoors.

Is Oostduinkerke walkable?

Answer

Yes and no. Staying in the boardwalk or beach area of Oostduinkerke puts you within a short walking distance to restaurants, shops, a grocery store, and the venue. We recommend booking one of the two hotels listed in the "Travel" section of our website or a nearby Airbnb. If you stay outside this area or wanted to explore more of our town, we do suggest a rental car or rental bikes for the duration of your stay, as it's slightly too large to be considered "walkable".
