Flight
Flights: The best options for flights will either be the larger Portland International Airport (PDX), which is a 3 hour drive away, or the smaller Eugene Airport (EUG) which is 2 hours away. Airport shuttle to coast: In lieu of renting a car, one option for getting from the Portland Airport to the coast is the Caravan Shuttle. It will take passengers as far south as Waldport, which is just a 10 minute drive north of Yachats, for around $80. (We could subsequently arrange a pick-up in Waldport). You can make reservations at www.caravanshuttle.com Carpooling to coast: If you need help getting from the Portland area to the coast, let us know, and we will connect you with other guests making the drive.

The lighthouse is about a 20 minute drive from Yachats, so we will have a shuttle service with two 14-passenger vans to pick people up and drop people off at several times throughout the night. To make that as efficient as possible, we're hoping to concentrate guests at the Adobe Resort, Fireside Motel and Overleaf Lodge. If those options don't work for you, though, no worries! The other option is to drive yourself. You cannot park directly at the B&B, but there is parking nearby at the State Park just below the B&B. To get to the parking area while going south on Highway 101, turn left onto Cape Creek Road. There is a 10$ parking fee, and it is a 10 minute walk up to the B&B. You can also catch a ride with our wedding shuttle from the parking lot up to the B&B if walking is an issue. Later in the evening, the wedding shuttles will make several trips to bring guests back to Yachats. We'll provide more shuttle specifics closer to the date!

The Overleaf Lodge provides up-scale ocean-side lodging with included spa access. It's only 5 minutes from the Adobe Resort via footpath. The farewell brunch on Sunday morning will also be on the Overleaf grounds.

The Fireside Motel is directly adjacent to the Overleaf Lodge but is the more economical and pet friendly option of the two.

Travel Note
For those who may prefer more rustic (and less expensive) accommodations, there are multiple campgrounds nestled along the coast, close to the venue. The closest is Carl G. Washburne Memorial State Park, just 5 minutes from the venue. Other nearby camping options (reservable on recreation.gov) are: - Rock Creek Oregon Coast Campground (8 minute drive) - Cape Perpetua Campground (20 minute drive)
