From the very first moment Anna and Nick stepped off the ferry onto Block Island, they felt it was magical. Anna and Nick’s journey began as family friends. Nick was buddies with Anna’s big brother, Adam, and Anna and Julia were good friends with Sarah and Emma, Nick’s sisters. There were many years of parties and family get togethers when the Schrecengosts lived in Beaver, PA. When Anna’s family moved to Connecticut, the friendships continued long distance. The years had passed when both families vacationed on Block Island. During an oceanside bonfire, it was pretty apparent to everyone that sparks were flying in the air between Anna and Nick. Their relationship grew throughout that year (their mothers may have been in cahoots with making get togethers happen)! That next Block Island vacation, Anna and Nick spent a lot of time together, and rumor has it, they had their first kiss.
