Anything I should know about COVID protocols?

UPDATE: As of March 18, 2022, Orleans Parish is categorized as having LOW COVID-19 Community Level. Therefore, the New Orleans Health Department is revising prior guidelines, lifting requirements on COVID-19 proof of vaccination or proof a recent negative COVID test to enter certain establishments. These updated guidelines will be effective as of March 21st. TO BE SAFE AND AVOID ANY FURTHER CHANGES, WE RECOMMEND YOU STILL BRING YOUR VAX CARD OR PROOF OF VACCINE.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

No. Only the people's names written on the invitation envelope are invited to the wedding.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! We will work with you and the team at Ralph's on the Park. Please let us know.

Anything else going on in New Orleans that weekend?

Answer

French Quarter Fest is scheduled to be held April 21-24. We hope you can enjoy so local music and food.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will not be providing transportation. Please park your car accordingly for participating in the second line from the ceremony to the reception.

What is a second line?

Answer

Welcome to New Orleans! A second line is, at its core, a celebration of life – in the form of a roving musical block party. The “first line” includes the brass band, along with members of the club, organization, or family being honored. The second line refers to everyone else: fellow revelers or mourners and those who have just decided to join in as it moves along. We'll be secondlining from the ceremony to the reception. Bring your dancing shoes!
