Check out where we met! Google maps will take you to the oval, a great place to start.
Check out the views, hike down to the water. One of the best places right next to Fort Collins with a 15 min drive from town.
Classic hike in Fort Collins. Moderate with a little rock scrambling right at the top. If from sea level, bring lots of water and sunscreen. Don't get altitude sickness! Approx. 4 hr round trip.
Stunning national park just 45 min from Fort Collins. Hopefully Hw 34 is open at the wedding, otherwise go further south to 66. Estes park is a gem along with RMNP, take the short hike to Bear Lake. Its one of Darren's favorites. $20/car day pass to get into the park.
Darren proposed at the top of the "A" hike. Great little hike, about 45 min up and 30 min down.
This will start you up the Poudre canyon, great spot to check out and drive through the canyon.
Across the street from the Venue and a nice little hike.
Probably one of the most well known things out of Fort Collins. They have a free 90 min tour with free beer! Book a tour in advance on the website.
The CSU garden will be beautiful this time of year! Its located at the University Center for the Arts building which has gorgeous giant columns at its entrance. That's how you'll know you are at the right place.
The place for country swing and line dancing in town. We learned to swing dance here with our group of friends freshman year of college.
Best Mexican-ish food in Fort Collins. Get it with red and white sauce...
Best pizza on the planet. Get "the one with the onion rings" on a spicy ranch base. You won't regret it. Says Darren. Annalisa would just like to say that cream cheese on your pizza actually is delicious; little nubs of warm cheesy goodness go great on almost any flavor selection. Except don't get the onion ring one. There are better flavors.
Great burgers in the heart of Old Town. Once in Old Town, park and walk around to check out all the different shops and the Old Town Square!
This was our first date! Darren thought it wasn't great but Annalisa thought it was fine.
We also stopped here on our first date! Good Fort Collins ice cream.
Where everyone goes to get good tacos and margaritas.
We likes this place. They have the best chocolate milk and its the perfect stop after tubing the Poudre canyon.
20's speakeasy in the heart of Old Town in the coolest bar in Fort Collins with great cocktails. You'll want to dress up a little go there.
Great jazz bar with good cocktails but the brownie on their menu is the best we have ever had. Get it.
This is the breakfast spot. Its been open since forever.
You can taste all of Northern Colorado here with 100 beers on tap. They also have an excellent pretzel.
Yes, there is still a drive in! Get yourself a truck and a free love-seat (craigslist) and enjoy the show! (It gets busy much before the show starts; get there early. Show starts at sundown, always a double feature, cash only.)
