Bride
Meet the Bride - Annagh. Annagh is the dreamer and the fairy of the relationship, floating through life with big ideas and an even bigger talent for spending money. She has waited 12 long years (and counting) to finally marry Fionn - proving that true love (and extreme patience) really do exist. While Annagh is, of course, beyond excited for her then 13-year probation period to come to an end in September 2026, she is yet to fully accept that the other man in her life - Louie - is not on the guest list. Find out on the day if Fionn putting his foot down on this one is a dealbreaker. In the winter months, you’ll find Annagh dramatically declaring her need to live in a sunny country, but the moment summer arrives, she forgets all of that, grabs an Aperol and swears she could never leave Dublin - always keeping Fionn on his toes. One thing’s for sure - no matter the season, she’s ready to say “I do” and finally become Mrs. Henderson!
Groom
Meet the Groom - Fionn. Fionn - pronounced Finn - has spent his life patiently correcting people on his name, enduring everything from "Fion" to the occasional "Fiona." But despite the identity crisis, he remains the steady thinker and backbone of his relationship with Annagh. Once upon a time, Fionn was scouted by Hollister (yes, really - more hair then), which is how he first caught Annagh’s eye. But luckily for all of us, he chose law over modelling - turns out he’s much better at being a solicitor than folding jeans in a dimly lit shop. While Annagh refuses to give up the title of pants-wearer, she’s more than happy to let Fionn take the lead - just as long as it’s the direction she wants to go. He also has an unhealthy love for running and marathons, possibly because it’s the only time he truly gets some peace. But no matter how many miles he runs, one thing’s for sure - his greatest endurance test has been waiting 13 years to make Annagh his wife.
Best Man
Introducing Eoin, Best Man, Annagh’s first boyfriend (yes, really), and Cork’s most enthusiastic - even if not naturally gifted - triathlete. For years, the only thing he managed to outrun was responsibility but, somehow, marriage and fatherhood finally caught up with him (and our boy is all the better for it). Eoin also sports a mysterious (and concerningly large) bear tattoo… or is it a direwolf? We’ll let you decide over the wedding festivities. (#GameOfThronesVibes) Once infamous for his teenage chaos, he now insists he’s a responsible adult (we remain sceptical). If you’d like a first-hand account of his so-called "glory days," just ask Fionn - he has the receipts, the photographic evidence and probably a considerable amount of motivation to share all of these following the best man speech.
Bridesmaid
Introducing Lauren, who has been by the brides side since play school! Once a wild child (and still a force to be reckoned with), Lauren has traded in her wild teenage days for the wifey life and is a practicing legal drug dealer (a.k.a. pharmacist). However, as expected, still has a mischievous streak! Fun fact: Lauren has changed her Instagram username at least 8 times—guess she likes to keep us on our toes. Oh, and did we mention that she cries when she laughs? It’s adorable. And let’s not forget her glory days of rocking a sky-high quiff in school - truly a style queen. We kindly ask that you keep her well-stocked with appropriate beverages throughout the night - trust us, that’s the magic potion to unlock the wild Lauren we all know and love!
Groomsman
Introducing George, the proud dog-dad of Doris (human baby is currently baking in the oven) who’s happily married to Louie (Annagh and Fionn’s dog) in what might be the most stable dysfunctional relationship we know. A former semi-pro rugby player - don’t worry, he’ll remind you - George can build or fix just about anything… except his motivation to do a Parkrun. He nearly got deported from Canada once, but got the hint and jumped ship before the paperwork caught up. Fun Fact: George and his now-wife Casey were once publicly rejected from boarding a packed Dublin bus to a Dermot Kennedy concert - only to be laughed at by strangers (Annagh and Fionn), who were then immediately rejected themselves. The four bonded over their shared shame, a taxi ride, and some very questionably smuggled vodka pouches. The rest, as they say, is slightly blurry history.
Bridesmaid
Introducing Maria, the heart of the party and the owner of a laugh that everyone must hear during the celebrations! We kindly ask that you don’t tempt her with gluten (how selfish of us to be getting married in the land of pizza and pasta - soz moz). The father of the bride particularly enjoys her entertaining tipsy chats - she’s been known to call him Mr. Bevan, much to his amusement. With her kind and caring nature, Maria is the calming force that every bride needs by their side on during such a special time.
Groomsman
Introducing the bride's "little" brother, Stephen. Standing at an impressive height and covered in enough body hair to qualify as a sentient carpet, he may look intimidating but don’t be fooled - he’s really just a big teddy bear at heart. When he’s not valiantly attempting to limit his alcohol intake (spoiler: he usually doesn’t), he’s busy charming the unsuspecting middle-aged women of Bantry into his personal training sessions with nothing but his smouldering brown eyes and the promise of toned triceps. Whether he’s flexing at the gym or just flexing his way into your heart, he’s sure to bring a lot of love - and laughter - to the celebration!
Bridesmaid
Say hello to the bride’s oldest friend and childhood partner-in-crime - Kelsey! Growing up as neighbours, she’s been a constant source of laughter, and let’s be honest, occasional chaos. Known for her legendary talking speed, Kelsey is the life of the party - even if it sometimes ends with a few too many “remember when” stories. Fun fact: she’s the reason Annagh asked Fionn to the debs (and we all know how that legendary tale turned out!). These days, Kelsey is busy teaching the youth of Bantry, passing on her love for life - and probably a few mischievous tricks! With a heart of gold and a knack for mischief, she’s here to make sure this celebration is one for the books!
Groomsman
Introducing the groom’s younger brother, our clumsy yet utterly lovable Oscar! At some point (we’re still unclear exactly when), Oscar grew up, stopped running around in the nip (well, mostly), and landed a job in the high-stakes world of sales. The family remain in awe - and are eternally grateful for his discovery of pants. Beyond his undying passion for closing deals, Oscar is also the proud owner of a hairline that Fionn secretly envies. He’s charming, he’s goofy, and he is ready to put in a (fully clothed) wedding dance performance for the ages.
Bridesmaid
Introducing the youngest member of the wedding party - our fabulous bride’s cousin and the undisputed hun of Cork! You’ll never catch Ciara without her nails perfectly manicured because if there’s one thing she knows, it’s that style is key. Known for her trademark sass, she once called out Finn for being “too old for vaping,” declaring it is a bit of an ick (although she's not wrong)! But beneath the sass and glam, Ciara has a heart of gold - especially when it comes to her two great loves: Daniel O’Donnell and Nathan Carter.
The Lord of the Rings
Introducing Pete, the bride’s mischievous and beloved uncle - and, of course, our enthusiastic ring bearer! Pete might just be the most excited person at the wedding - he’s been counting down the days since the moment of the engagement. He’s been asking when Fionn would officially be his new nephew. Playful at heart, he always knows how to bring laughter and a touch of cheeky fun to any situation. Beyond his adorable antics, Peter is the heart of our family, always spreading joy wherever he goes. His passion for music means we might even be treated to an impromptu performance of an old Irish song during the festivities. Get ready for a day full of love, laughter, and plenty of smiles, all thanks to Uncle Pete!
CLO (Chief Love Officer)
Where to begin with Liadh? Over the course of her friendship with the couple, they've managed to drink entire vineyards dry, solve some of life’s greatest disputes, and chat an impressive amount of nonsense! Each year, while holidaying in Roundstone together, Annagh, Fionn, and Liadh have made memories that rival any epic adventure - mostly at the 'kiddies' table,' despite being well into adulthood. Let’s not forget Fionn’s marathon with her - proof that they’ve endured some serious miles together, both on the road and in friendship. An honourable mention goes to the weekend Annagh and Fionn asked Liadh to be a big part of their wedding. Annagh, in true party spirit, stayed up drinking all night with Liadh. There was just one small issue - Liadh and Annagh did not take a break from their thirsty activities and dancing to Zach Bryan, leaving Fionn with the responsibility of ensuring her timely departure and serving as taxi driver to Dublin airport at 5:45 a.m. The cherry on top? Liadh's mum (we love you kit-kat) had the pleasure of picking her up on a Sunday morning at Heathrow, still rather merry. We can't wait to see what the wedding will hold for this mischievous diva.
