The love story of Annabelle and Eric began in unusual conditions, to say the least. It is a story of how two people found love among a polarizing world through understanding and compassion. Try, if you can, to remember the state of the world in 2020. For many, it was a period where time itself seems to have slipped away. For Annabelle and Eric, it was the perfect storm of possibility. Annabelle had moved back home to Long Island to be with her family while Eric was hunkering down in New Jersey. The two made their first connection on the dating site Hinge. Annabelle liked Eric's smile and sense of humor and Eric liked Annabelle's artsiness and cheerleader charm. Their first date was an online call. Fans of Zoom, anyone? After that, they agreed to meet in person, despite everyone telling them to stay inside.

The next few months were a wild time of cultural landmark events. Annabelle and Eric had to learn about each other much quicker than the average budding couple. These circumstances allowed them to look beyond the superficial and get to the center of what they valued the most. They found a mutual love of travel, adventure, and of course, food! All of which brought them to places like Croatia, Montenegro, Iceland, Mexico, and Italy, just to name a few. They fell in love with their ability to be serious about living life to the fullest but not take life too seriously. Today, Eric and Annabelle's relationship continues to grow. They are constantly supporting each other's creative endeavors, whether that be Annabelle editing one of Eric's short stories the night before it's due, or Eric encouraging Annabelle to paint more. They know that together, there is nothing they can't achieve.
