Everglades Holiday Park Airboat Tours and Rides
Feeling adventurous? We took an airboat tour through the Everglades and loved it. Be sure to stay for the alligator show after the boat ride, it's definitely worth it.
Jet Ski Rentals
Thrill-seekers this one's for you. We shared a jet ski but suggest getting one per-person as you glide past mansions, gorgeous yachts, cruise ships, and the occasional coast guard. (We rented in Fort Lauderdale but there are plenty of options in Miami)
Snorkeling Sea Experience
Land lubbers beware: only do this if you've got strong sea legs. For those brave enough, head to the ocean for snorkeling and swimming among the Floridian marine life.
Miami Improv Comedy Club and Dinner Theater
Eric is a big stand-up comedy fan and this Florida venue is one of the best. If you're in the mood for a laugh check out their lineup and see a show.
Vizcaya Museum & Gardens
Wander through the amazing gardens of this historic museum unique to Florida.
Wynwood Walls
South Florida has a thriving art scene and our wedding weekend happens to fall during Art Basel, Miami Beach's annual art fair that showcases contemporary art from galleries and artists around the world. For a taste of the arts, we highly recommend taking a tour of The Wynwood Walls. These large and vibrant murals had us in awe. Fun fact: we came here on our first trip to Florida together!
BAKAN
Hungry after your tour of Wynwood? Bakan is right around the corner. We love their tacos and fun island setting. Don't forget to order the mezcal flight, complete with orange slices and crickets! Yes, you read that right!
Yellow Green Farmers Market
Rain or shine, this indoor/outdoor market is the place to be for a food and drink crawl. It's funky, upbeat, and filled with local vendors. If you go, stop at Los Monis Bar for some delicious mojitos and great conversations with the owner.
Jungle Secret Garden
In need of a coffee and healthy breakfast? We love this secret garden-style outdoor coffee shop that offers everything from refreshing smoothies to light bites.
Cafe La Trova
If you're searching for traditional Cuban cuisine, this is the place. We love coming here for the amazing food, great drinks, live music and unbeatable atmosphere. It all makes for a spectacular night out.
Tiki Tiki
If you're outside the Miami area but looking for that tiki bar vibe, you've come to the right place. This casual eatery on the water is a favorite of ours. They have great brunch/dinner specials and are totally dog friendly!
Rice Mediterranean Kitchen
Out and about in Coral Gables and need a quick bite? We like this fast-casual mediterranean restaurant. This is in the town center and close by many other restaurants and shops.
Makoto
We love the atmosphere as well as the crispy tuna rice and spicy edamame (pro tip: it's an off-menu item). After dinner we like to stroll around the beautiful Bal Harbour Shops. Whether you're shopping or dining, there's always a chance to see a celebrity here.
Abbalé Telavivian Kitchen - South Beach
This telavivian kitchen is a favorite of ours when we are craving Israeli food. There is a location in Aventura and South Beach so you can try it out no matter where you're staying.
Komodo Miami
It may not look like much on the outside but once you're in, be prepared to run into celebrities like David Portnoy, Megan Fox, and Machine Gun Kelly, like we did. The restaurant is known for its peking duck but we love the king crab lo mein.
Kiki on the River
Bougie times and even better views. Enjoy watching boats dock right up to the restaurant while you chow down on some seriously delicious greek food. The vibes are upbeat and people come dressed to the 9's.
La Mar
Located inside the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, this Peruvian fusion restaurant has amazing skyline views of Brickell, one of our favorite districts in Miami. Order the whole fried fish for dinner, then walk along the waterfront after for even more scenic views.
SUGARCANE
Come here for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. Fun fact: we dined here on our first trip to Florida. See if you can spot the picture in our Gallery.

Craving something sweet? We often come here for yummy gelato to end the night.
Watr at the 1 Rooftop
Come here for poolside drinks in a cabana overlooking the ocean. Stay for dinner with their asian inspired menu.

Bodega is a delicious and authentic taqueria attached to a speakeasy night club. It's the perfect combination of good times and late night drunk eats. Not to mention, you get a complimentary shot of tequila as you enter.

Medium Cool Cocktail Lounge
This cocktail lounge in Miami Beach is similar to those you'd find in NYC's Lower East Side. It's dark, moody, and the disco ball makes for a groovy night.
