FAQs

Question

I've never been to a Christian wedding ceremony, what can I expect?

Answer

At the ceremony you can expect a marriage-focused sermon delivered by Pastor Michael. Prayer as well as singing of the hymn "How Great Thou Art" will be interwoven into the sermon. You will find the lyrics posted on your program and we encourage you to join us in singing!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as possible. Respond by no later than April 10th. Regretfully, those who do not respond by this date will not be included in the final count.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! Our wedding's dress code is garden party formal! Gentlemen are encouraged to wear a suit and tie while ladies can opt for a floor length or formal cocktail dress. We'd love to see bright colors, pastels, and florals. Please avoid black and dark colors and don't wear jeans!

Question

Can I bring a guest not listed on my invitation?

Answer

No. As much as we'd like to allow every invitee to have a +1, no additional guests can be accommodated at this time. Please refer to your invitation for the number of seats reserved for your party.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes! There is parking on site at our venue!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend you arrive between 3:30 and 3:45. Guests should be seated by 3:45.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

No. We are having an unplugged ceremony. Please keep your phones away, your ringers off, and trust that our photographers are capturing the most amazing photos!

Question

Will alcohol be served at the bar?

Answer

Yes, during cocktail hour, bar beverages will include beer and wine. We also plan to have champagne at each table for toasts during dinner. However, bar beverage options will be non-alcoholic during dancing. We look forward to our guests being present in the moment and enjoying an amazing night! It’s important to us that drunkenness is avoided at our wedding given our Christian faith. Please refrain from bringing additional alcoholic beverages into the venue.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Maybe! We're having a taco bar, so gluten- and lactose-intolerant folks should be able to customize their meals as needed. If you have any additional allergies, please let us know and we'll see what we can do.
