Adirondack Regional Airport

There are daily flights on Cape Air from both Boston Logan Airport and JFK in NY to Adirondack Regional Airport (SLK). Please note this is a tiny aircraft and books up very quickly. This airport is a 30 minute drive to Lake Placid. There are not Ubers readily available at this airport, information on rental cars below.

Amtrak Train

This is another option for those coming from the NYC area. The train leaves from Moynihan Penn Station and arrives at Albany-Rensselaer Train Station (ALB). The train ride is 3 hours and then it is a 2.5 hour drive north to Lake Placid. We suggest arranging a car service or taxi from the list below or rent a car to take you to Lake Placid.
