What does all-inclusive mean? What is included in my room rate?

Answer

When should I book my room? Why should I reserve early?

Answer

Please book your accommodations as soon as possible. This guarantees your spot in the event the resort sells out during this time of year (near Spring Break). A refundable deposit of $200 per room is required to secure a reservation. This deposit is REFUNDABLE up until FINAL PAYMENT on January 5, 2024.

What if the room block is full?

Answer

If the group room block is full, you’ll be at the mercy of the hotel rates at that time. Good news, you can lock in your reservation now and avoid all that stress for you and the couple.

WILL TRANSPORTATION BE PROVIDED TO/FROM THE airport?

Answer

We recommend you arrange for a roundtrip transfer from the airport directly with our travel agent, An Extraordinary Traveler. There is an option to add this on when you are finalizing your room arrangements. You can also hire a private shuttle ahead of time on your own. It is not recommended to use a local taxi on-site.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

We’d love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Dress code is semi-formal. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and gentlemen should wear a suit or a sports coat.

WILL THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION BE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception are both taking place outdoors. The ceremony will be held on grass and the reception will be on the rooftop terrace, however both are uncovered. Please check the weather and plan accordingly.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding an adults-only event with the exception of immediate family. While the resort is kid-friendly, if you choose to make this a memorable family vacation, we kindly ask that you coordinate childcare with the Hyatt Ziva for the wedding events.

CAN I BRING A DATE?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding.

Do I need a passport to travel to Mexico?

Answer

Yes!! Please check the validity of your passport before making your reservations. Your passport must be valid for 6 months POST travel for the Nelson wedding. Be sure to check the expiration of your current passport or apply for a new one 3-4 months before you depart the US. Ensure that the name on your plane ticket matches the name on your passport as well.

Are cabanas available to rent?

Answer

Beach and pool cabanas are available to rent for extra cost.
