Welcome, family and friends! We’re excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. William is a Denver native and returned to the city after graduating from the University of Arizona. In the fall of 2015 Anna made her cross-country move to Colorado. They were both trying to make new friends and separately joined a kickball league. Through connections and some player overlap on both teams, the two were first introduced on a ski trip a little over six years ago. Even as friends, they supported and uplifted one another, all the while still forging their own paths. This led William to take a huge leap and move to Barcelona where he pursued a Master’s degree. In 2020, after Covid brought William back to Colorado for good, a solid friendship eventually blossomed into a beautiful relationship. William and Anna have traveled the world together from Santa Barbara, to Lisbon, to Hanoi and like to buy a new Christmas ornament in each destination to commemorate the experience! This past March, on a Friday afternoon, William pulled out their suitcases and surprised Anna with a weekend getaway in the mountains. He told her to dress warmly and revealed a romantic sleigh ride through the snow fleeced forest. They stopped at a particularly stunning overlook and the driver-in-training offered to take a picture of the couple. Before Anna even knew what was happening, William had the ring out and was down on one knee. Since they first met in Breckenridge, he said this is where they should start their lives together, and she said… “YES!” That driver-in-training was actually a photographer William had hired and she captured many memories that will last a lifetime.
