Why did you elope first?

Answer

The wedding reception is to celebrate our marriage with all our friends and family! We chose to elope in early June 2025, with no family present. This is a nod to Anna’s grandparents Emil and Alena Nicolay who eloped the same weekend as Alena’s sister, Laura and her husband Howard! Ultimately we wanted the adventure in the mountains to say formal vows and now it’s time to Party!

Will there be a shuttle from the hotel to the event?

Answer

There will be a complimentary shuttle service available. They will pick up at the wedding and drop off at the Best Western Hotel in Blairmore in Saskatoon. There are other options as well such as YXE Taxi, and First choice designated drivers if you wish to coordinate that with them instead. There is overnight parking available at the venue free of charge so everyone can get home safely!

How much are drink tickets?

$3 each or 7 for $20

What should I Wear?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi formal / backyard wedding. The majority of the party will be indoors but there will be outdoor games as well if you wish to partake!

Will there be dogs there?

Answer

YES! We are lucky enough to have Saskatoon Dog Rescue as our bartenders for the evening and there will be a few pups up for adoption to cuddle during the cocktail hour!

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Your presence is the best gift we could ask for! However if you’d like to give a gift, we would appreciate contributions toward our honeymoon. But most importantly, we’re just excited to celebrate with you!

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, to keep our celebration intimate, we are asking that only children specifically listed on the invitation attend. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!
