Due to the pandemic that is taking place, we have made the hard decision to postpone our wedding for the safety of all of our guests. Although we are disheartened, we know that it was the right decision. We apologize for any inconvenience. Thankfully, our venues and vendors have been very flexible with us and we have been able to keep them all for our new date- August 1! Our website is up to date with all of the current information. Invitations will be sent out this summer. We hope to still be able to invite everyone who received a Save the Date, but if there are still recommended limitations on the number of people allowed for public gatherings, please understand that we may have to make some hard decisions about our guest list.
It was love at first sight...just kidding, it definitely was not. However, years of dying/thriving in the distance lane together at the good ol’ transy pool led us to develop a beautifully close, sarcastic friendship that actually led us to even start hanging out even outside the pool (gasp). In true sitcom fashion, we slowly started to see each other as a little more than just friends and training partners. We took a page from Chandler and Monica’s book and kept our relationship secret from most people for several months, so that we could enjoy being together without everyone else also being in our relationship (if you’ve ever been on a swim team, ya know what we mean). We really did find love in a sometimes hopeless place (seriously, there’s a reason no one ever wanted to join the distance lane). We are so thankful that first impressions are sometimes wrong, for the sport that brought us together, and the friendship that our relationship is built upon. We are so pumped to be getting married and have our family and friends there to partake in all the fun (and oh, it’s gonna be a fun one).
