Bride
Born and raised in Long Island, NY, many of you may know Anna as a former professional ballet dancer. But now, she has the honor of working as an oncology nurse. Since 2015, Anna has been forever changed by God's freely given grace. She lives to love Jesus, know Him, and to make Him known. She prays that God's plan would be done in her life and that all of her is given towards loving Him and those around her so that they too may experience God's immense love. While working in the hospital, Anna is currently in grad school getting her nurse practitioner degree. Anna loves deep conversations and learning others' stories. She loves all things nature and is in constant awe of God's creation. Her life's prayer is that she continues to live out her life verse 1 John 4:19. We love because He first loved us.
Groom
Born and raised on Oahu, Sam grew up in the small town of Aiea. He attended the University of Hawaii and majored in Finance. Shortly after, God led Sam to serve in the US Navy where he currently works as a Naval Officer. While this is his profession, Sam’s true purpose is to serve God, serve His people, and serve His Kingdom. Sam’s prayer is that the only thing that is remembered through his life is the name and glory of God. While Sam constantly and consistently falls short, through God’s abundant grace, God always guides Sam back to Him and sets Sam’s eyes back onto the cross. We are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone for the glory of God alone and live by scripture alone. Ephesians 4: 4-10
Matron of Honor
Anna and Renny were roommates at Indiana University their freshman year, and they both studied at IU's Jacobs School of Music. While Anna danced, Renny played the piano. Renny was such a light to Anna at that point in her life and was the first person to share the gospel and love of God with her. She has been such an amazing sister in Christ to her ever since. When Anna had to stop her ballet career, Renny was right there to provide support and encouragement. Anna's final dance performance of "What Love Is This" was at Renny's wedding which was such an honor for her. No matter the time or the distance, they always seem to pick up right where they left off.
Best Man
Daniel and Sam have known each other for their entire lives. They grew up in the same church and have only become closer friends as they have matured as Christians. Their love for God and His kingdom have become the foundation of their friendship. Daniel is not just a friend, he is a brother. Daniel has supported Sam through all the triumphs and troubles of life. They have talked about this day and Daniel being Sam’s best man since high school. It is amazing to see how God has led both of them up to this point and the work He continues to graciously do in their lives.
Bridesmaid
The Annas connected on Instagram in 2016 and have been the greatest of friends ever since. Anna C. was immediately drawn to the beautiful spirit and loving heart of Anna L. In 2018, they met for the first time in person at the airport before they went on their way to Vancouver for a spiritual retreat, and they had such a blast. In the past few years, they have supported one another through life's ups and downs, laughed until their stomachs hurt, and have grown so much as sisters in Christ. Anna loves creative pursuits and mental health counseling and is a light in this world.
Groomsman
Jaren and Sam met at Iolani School when Sam began high school there in 2007. Their friendship began during intermediate football season their freshman year. Jaren’s warmth, friendliness, and “aloha attitude” really helped Sam to come out of his shell in the early years of high school. Their friendship grew and grew as they got older. Jaren went to school and began his professional career in WA, but they have remained close friends despite the distance. The Navy takes you away from family and friends at times, but Jaren, his wife Alissa, and of course their dog Benny have always opened up their home and hearts to Sam. A home cooked meal and a night-in playing Mario Party really meant the world to Sam.
Bridesmaid
Anna and Sharon met through Anna Lin back in 2018, and Anna loved her light-filled and joyful heart. A fellow sister in Christ and registered nurse, they love to connect and pray for one another in the different seasons of life. Each time Anna goes into the city, they get to see one another and have an absolutely wonderful time of fellowship. They bond over just about everything and can talk for hours!
Groomsman
The Sams (Lee and Shields) met each other at Officer Candidate School in Newport, RI. They were commissioned into the Navy in 2017. While their time at OCS was only a few months, they immediately became great friends. They began flight training that same year in Pensacola, FL. The Navy has placed them in different parts of the US and has made it difficult to talk to each other at times, but they make sure to check in on each other whenever they can. Shields exemplifies the highest standards of morality, honesty, and dedication. A true Naval Officer and an even better friend. Battle buddies for life!
Officiant
Lead Pastor at Three Village Church in Setauket, NY. The Craddock family has had the honor of attending Three Village since 2018. Pastor Josh is a light to the church family as well as the community, sharing truth with grace and leading the family of God faithfully.
