Explore Independence Pass: This scenic drive crosses 12,095-foot Independence Pass. The views are amazing and there are several spots to pull off for a hike along the way. Aspen Gondola: The aspen gondola in the summer is a great way to spend the day. Taking a breathtaking ride up from town to the top of Aspen mountain and getting lunch at the Sundeck can't be beat. Check out Bluegrass Sundays from 12-3 Rent e-bikes from Aspen Bikes and ride up to Maroon Bells or Woody Creek Tavern for a margarita! Rent paddle boards and float down Stillwater, a mellow and windy stretch of river that will take about 1.5-2 hrs.
