Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Anna Rench and Matt Schacter
We're so excited for our guests to experience fall in Vermont where foliage will be at its peak. Here are some things to check out while you are here.

Quechee Gorge

5966 Woodstock Road, Hartford, VT 05001

The Quechee Gorge is a scenic spot that can be viewed from the bridge, or you can do a brief hike down to the bottom.

Quechee Gorge Village

5573 Woodstock Road, Hartford, VT 05059

The Quechee Gorge Village is home to local shops, an antique mall, and live alpacas. This is a great place to get all of your Vermont treats and souvenirs to bring home.

Woodstock

Woodstock, VT

Woodstock is a beautiful town right next to Quechee that has shopping and restaurants.

Billings Farm & Museum

69 Old River Road, Woodstock, VT 05091

Family-friendly farm with animals and a museum

Riverview Farm

141 River Road, Plainfield, NH 03781

While there are many farms in the area, Riverview farm is our recommendation for apple picking. They also offer a variety of seasonal berries, a corn maze, flower fields and more. Their farm store sells apple cider and cider doughnuts.

Simon Pearce

1760 Quechee Main Street, Hartford, VT 05059

A well-known glassblowing shop with an attached farm-to-table restaurant.

Hiking Trails

Section 5 Wilderness Trails in Quechee or Mt. Tom in Woodstock (we recommend the Faulkner Trail) for easy to moderate hikes nearby.

Local Restaurants and Breweries

We recommend The Skinny Pancake, The Public House, and Pizza Chef in Quechee or Worthy Kitchen in Woodstock for casual bites. Big Fatty's BBQ for casual bites or The Red Can for a nicer dinner in White River Junction. Long Trail and Harpoon breweries are located ~20-30 mins from Quechee.
