What is cocktail attire?

Answer

Short or mid-length dresses, dressy jumpsuits, a tailored suit or a blazer with dress trousers (ties are optional). Please wear comfortable shoes. The venue does not require much walking, but we will be on grass for the ceremony.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding ceremony and cocktail hour will be held on the lawn at the Quechee Inn. The reception will be held in a tent on the property. In the event of rain, the ceremony and cocktail hour will also be held in the tent.

What should I expect the weather to be?

Answer

Late September in Vermont can be unpredictable! We suggest checking the weather a few days before, but guests should pack something warm for the ceremony and cocktail hour in case it is chilly. We will have heaters in the tent.

Are Ubers/Lyfts available in the area?

Answer

No. Ubers and Lyfts are very hard to come by in this area. We suggest driving to the ceremony or staying at our preferred hotel where we will provide a shuttle.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes. The Quechee Inn has plenty of space for parking.
