Wedding Party

Looking at this list, we're reminded of a quote from one of Kyle's favorite Christmas movies, It's a Wonderful Life. "Dear George, Remember no man is a failure who has friends. - Clarence" We are so blessed to have such amazing friends and family standing by our sides on our momentous day! We love you all so much. - Kyle and Anna

Cate Livingston

Matron of Honor

I couldn't imagine anyone better in this role than my big sister! Cate and I have been close our whole lives. She has always been my best friend; someone I know I can go to with anything and everything. Cate is one of the funniest, kindest, most thoughtful people I know. Growing up, she always found a way to include me and make me feel loved. She has always been one of my biggest supporters. Whenever I was asked who my biggest role model was, I had an easy answer - my sister! Over the past 2+ years, I have not only been able to look up to her as in individual, but now also in marriage. Seeing how she loves and cherishes her marriage has been a great example for what is to come for Kyle and I. There is genuinely no one else I would want to stand right next to me on this special day.

Sarah Arendt

Bridesmaid

Sarah is my sister-in-law and the best one at that! I am so incredibly lucky to have a sister-in-law that feels just as close to a real sister. She quickly became one of the closest people in my life. We have made countless memories together that will last a lifetime. Her and my brother, Brennan, took me in as a roommate when I moved down to Omaha. She helped me acclimate to my new home and became my main go-to source for absolutely anything. I will forever be grateful for that time in my life because we bonded more than I could have ever hoped. She became not only a sister-in-law, but a best friend. I recognize how lucky I am to have a sister-in-law that I am so close with. I am so blessed that she entered my life and couldn't imagine my big day without her being a part of it.

Brooke Finley

Bridesmaid

Brooke has been my life long best friend ever since I can remember. Growing up two doors down, we quickly became inseparable growing up. There was infrequently a day we would go without seeing one another. Between our many sleepovers, family trips, inside jokes and more, we have countless memories together that I will always be able to look back fondly on. Brooke is one of the sweetest, most optimistic and resilient people I know. Having her by my side growing up helped shape me into the person I am today. Not only are we blessed to have our past to look back on, but also our future to look forward to. We have always had a friendship that we knew would last a lifetime. Growing up, Brooke and I used to dream of our weddings; those dreams are now becoming reality and I am so fortunate to have her by my side for it.

Kolbey Bormann

Bridesmaid

Kolbey and I met our junior year of college when we became roommates. There couldn't have been a more perfect match as we quickly became best friends. At a time where I felt a little lost and alone, Kolbey was there to make me feel comfortable and loved as soon as we had met. The Lord truly knew what He was doing putting us in each others lives. Kolbey and I really bonded through our faith. Admiring Kolbey and her love for the Lord drew me closer to God and helped me grow my own faith. This is something I will forever be grateful for. Living with Kolbey is one of the most cherished times in my life as we made the absolute best memories together. I knew right away that Kolbey was going to be a lifelong best friend. I can't imagine a world without Kolbey by me on this sacred day.

Serena Langen

Bridesmaid

Serena and I also met my junior year of college and have had an incredibly special bond since. Serena's adventurous personality has led us on the most amazing trips and helped us create once in a lifetime memories. Serena is someone that I can go to with absolutely anything and everything and know I will always have nothing but love and support. She is honest and true to herself and everyone around her. Over the years, I have seen Serena's faith grow which has shaped her into the confident, independent person she is. Her loyalty and genuine love for me has impacted me so heavily. It is hard to put into words how her and our friendship means to me. She is a lifelong best friend and someone I couldn't imagine not having by my side on my wedding day.

Hannah Bursey

Bridesmaid

Hannah and I were in nursing school together but really bonded through our involvement with the Newman Center. Growing our relationship through our Catholic faith created such a pure and beautiful friendship that I am so grateful for. Hannah has been a great role model for me in wanting to better my faith through her own love for the Lord. Her sweet, gentle and loving personality has become one of the most comforting relationships in my life. Although we live busy lives and haven't lived in the same state since college, we are always able to pick up right where we left off. I am so blessed to have Hannah in my life and I am so excited to have her be a part of our big day.

Julia Pleskac

Bridesmaid

Julia and I met through work around 2 years ago. Julia was my first close friendship in Omaha. I finally felt like I belonged in Omaha when I met her. Moving states was a big adjustment for me and I was yearning to find friendships similar to the ones back home. When Julia and I met, we clicked. She was extremely welcoming and quickly became such a bright light in my life. We soon became inseparable, inside and outside of work. We have created countless memories that I will always cherish. She has shown me so much love and support and I will forever be grateful to have met her. In our short time knowing each other, it seems like we have been best friends for years. I am so lucky to have Julia stand next to me on my wedding day.

Araceli Covarrubias

Bridesmaid

Araceli and I also met at work around 2 years ago. Again, at a time when I was craving lasting friendships in Omaha, Araceli was there as someone who I got along with so effortlessly and soon became one of my closest friends. Araceli has such a special and unique personality that I have grown to love so much. I never find myself not laughing when I am in her presence. She has a way of making me feel so comfortable when we are together because of her ability to be completely present and always give her full attention to whoever she is with. She is also the best "hype woman" a friend could ask for. Mine and Araceli's relationship continues to get more special as time goes on. I am so grateful to have her in my wedding.

Alexis Finley & Leah Hansen

Personal attendants

I have known Lexi and Leah since they were born. We all lived a few houses away from one another but seemed to always be in one house together. Being their neighbor (and babysitter for many years) was one of the best things to happen in my life. They both became like little sisters to me and I found it my responsibility to help give them as great of a childhood as Brooke and I had. Watching them grow up has been such an honor. They have grown into the most respectful, caring, beautiful young women; I am incredibly proud of both of them. Lexi and Leah mean more to me than they will ever know. They have had such a deep impact on my life and I could never imagine my wedding without them playing a role. P.S. while they will be serving as my "personal attendants", they will also be making delicious cookies for our reception. #cookinupcrumble

Paisley Zeleski

Flower Girl

Paisley is Kyle's niece. When Kyle and I first met, he told me right away that Paisley was the apple of his eye. Paisley is sweet and spunky. There is never a dull moment when we are with her. Kyle has loved watching her grow up and I have loved getting to know the special person that Paisley is in the short time knowing her. Paisley is such a gift and we are so blessed to have her be a part of our special day.

Joe Nguyen

Groomsman

Joe and I have been best friends since kindergarten. I can remember, even then, that we always gravitated to one another and always got along. As we continued through school, we'd hang out constantly outside of school, enjoying many of the same sports and interests. Fast forward to high school and college and we were inseparable. We always hit the gym together and would hang out for hours afterward, talking about whatever was weighing on our minds. Joe has always pushed me to be the absolute best that I can be, and he's a shining example of all the things one can accomplish when they're willing to have faith and put in the work. A devout Catholic, Joe and I have always held each other firm in faith. I know God brought us together as one of each other's best friends because He knew that would help us to always remain faithful to Him and His Church. I am abundantly grateful and lucky to have Joe by my side on this momentous day, and I look forward to a lifetime's worth of memories ahead!

Brody Rolfes

Groomsman

Brody "Rick" Rolfes is one of my very best friends, and I'm a lucky man to be able to say that. Brody and I met through a mutual friend, Grant Leber (also a groomsman). I still remember the evening Grant asked me if I wanted to hang out with his girlfriend Aspen (now his wife) and her brother, Brody. I agreed and what followed was an amazing night full of laughter, ping pong, games, and great friendship. Our friendship quickly took off and pretty soon we were hanging out multiple times a week, playing ping pong, going on long drives, and much more! Much like my own experience meeting him, Brody has a way of meeting new people but making them feel as though they're old friends reuniting. Brody is selfless, dedicated, a true family-man, and a shining example of all the things you want in a best friend. I love him dearly and am so blessed that God brought me such great friends.

Grant Leber

Groomsman

Grant "GBabe" Leber is also one of my very best friends and one I've known the longest. We met way back in 5th or 6th grade when we were placed on the same club basketball team. The multiple practices and games per week were the perfect chances for us to hang out regularly and become fast friends. This friendship would continue to grow throughout all of highschool and college where we have countless memories of going to the lake, playing yard games, fun trips, deep talks, and so much more. Grant is a hard worker, a dedicated husband and son, and incredible best friend. Always the life of the party, but also quick to slow things down and spend quality time with anyone in need of a laugh or friend. As with all these gentlemen, I love him dearly and am blessed to call him one of my best friends.

Aaron Nichols

Groomsman

Aaron and I first met in middle school also through club basketball. However, it wasn't until high school that we really became close. We'd hang out at Grant's pool, watch Husker games together, and go to countless Pius events (watching Aaron at state baseball was a highlight). As we moved into college, we hung out often during Covid, took our yearly ski trips, and so much more. Not to mention, in our late college years and right after graduating, we worked together at the same firm! Aaron is a true friend and I always know that if I'm around him, I'm destined to have a blast and laugh so hard my stomach hurts. I've always known that I could go to Aaron with anything and he'd be able to relate and would genuinely care. I'm incredibly lucky to consider Aaron one of my best friends!

Braeden "Tuna" Struempler

Groomsman

It's a long story, but, yes, Braeden's nickname really is "Tuna" and I almost never call him by his real name. Tuna and I met in college when we were both at the gym! Funny enough, right around this same time, Tuna started dating Rick's (Groomsman listed above) little sister, Skyler. I was enthralled to hear that Skyler had found such a good man. From the moment we became friends, Tuna immediately became someone with whom I would frequently seek out intellectually and philosophically stimulating conversation. He challenges me to be the best version of myself, to always strive to learn more, and he's always there for me. Whether it's a quick phone call to say hey, or an evening hanging out with some great conversation, Tuna is wise beyond his years and I'm so blessed to call him one of my very best friends. A man of God, Tuna is a huge blessing in my life.

Taylor Sims

Groomsman

Taylor and I have some incredible memories throughout the years! One of the absolute biggest staples was Taylor's Friday Nights! Man, these were some of the most fun nights of high school and college. Taylor, always the incredible host that he is, would invite a bunch of us over every Friday and we'd play video games, hang out, swim in his pool (jumping in from the roof was the most fun, thank God no one ever got hurt), and we'd even occasionally raid his parents' popcorn store, Amazen (don't worry, we had permission). The fun times have continued even to today with many Husker parties, weekend hangouts, and much more. Taylor is a stoic and incredibly thoughtful guy. Over the years, some of the most impactful conversations we'd have would be with each other. I'm so proud to call Taylor one of my best friends and I think the world of him.

Brennan Arendt

Groomsman

Funny enough, I actually met Brennan before I ever met Anna! While neither of us knew it at the time, look at where we've ended up. I am so blessed to be able to call Brennan my brother-in-law! He is an amazing big brother to Anna, and an excellent model for me in my own life. He is such a hard worker, prioritizes family always, and, most importantly, cherishes his faith above all. When I moved to Omaha, and before I met Anna, I didn't really have friends here. That all changed of course, and I owe so much of that to Brennan and his wife, Sarah. They welcomed me with open arms and truly made me feel like family from the start! I am so blessed that all of my in-laws are really some of the greatest people I'll ever meet. God couldn't have given me a better family!

Dylan Livingston

Groomsman

Dylan is Anna's brother-in-law, married to her sister, Cate and I am so lucky to be able to call him my own brother-in-law! Dylan is wildly intelligent, kind, witty, funny, and, like, actually good at everything. I'll always remember how he and Cate insisted on travelling to Omaha so that they could meet me when I went back to Brennan and Sarah's house for the first time. That night was so much fun and I felt right at home with everyone there! Dylan is so easy to talk to and makes all feel like they're his best friend. I'm so grateful for the memories he and I have shared already and look forward to so many more in all the years to come!

Drew Zeleski

Best Man

Drew is my big brother and although we don't say it to each other often enough, I love him dearly. He has served as an excellent role model for me for, literally, my entire life. Whether it was teaching me how to roller blade/ice skate, showing me what it means to be tough, or even, at times, showing me what not to do, I owe much of who I am today to him and his example. Seeing the fruition of his amazing family, and his love and dedication to them as a husband and father has only reinforced his position in my life as role model and best friend. Words cannot describe how lucky I am to know that I can always count on my big brother for help, advice, a good laugh, and so much more.
