It all began with a wallet being left behind at church. Kyle and I both went to confession at St. Wenceslaus Catholic church to start out the new year. Being a bit on the forgetful side, I left my wallet in the pew and luckily, Kyle was there an hour later to find it. After trying to pass off my wallet to the front desk and being told he should "take care of it himself", Kyle ended up at the address on my drivers license (my brother and sister-in-laws house). Not too long later, I get a call that my "prince charming had dropped off my wallet". Bummed that the girl in the driver's license photo wasn't at the house, Kyle decided to find my Facebook account and message me to let me know he had returned my wallet to my family. Ecstatic to receive the message, we began messaging back and forth before eventually meeting in person not too long after. It didn't take us too long to realize God had placed us both at that church for a very special reason. Kyle and I were both told by the priest during our confessions that he believed we would "experience an abundance of blessings that year". There has been nothing short of an abundance of blessings since that very night leading up to our wedding day.
