How do I get to Keuka Lake?

Answer

The closest airport is Rochester, NY (ROC). It is ~1 hour drive from Rochester airport. Other options for flying and renting a car from: - NYC: You can fly into a NYC airport and drive to the lake (4.5 hours). - Toronto: You can fly into a Toronto airport and drive to the lake (3.5 hours). - Buffalo: You can fly into Buffalo and drive to the lake (2 hours).

How early do I need to book my accommodations?

Answer

As early as possible. Once you know that you will be attending the wedding, we suggest booking either the hotel or lake house rental asap. This time of year is popular for tourists. Check the "Travel and Stay" section for more information on hotels and rentals, and contact Anna directly (201-470-7260) if interested in renting on the lake.

Will Uber and Lyft be available?

Answer

No, this part of NY state has limited access to car share apps. However, there are local taxi companies, as well as a local company called Main Street Drivers (which acts as a designated driver for the night and will drive you around in your own car). We will be providing shuttle buses for the day of the wedding. They will pick up and drop off at 2 locations: Anna/Kevin's lake house as well as Penn Yan village (where the 3 hotels are located). The after-party is located very close to the hotels, to make things as convenient as possible.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for wedding day is cocktail/black tie optional attire: vibrant colors, playful patterns, and whimsical details. Feel free to express yourself and be as playful as you want! And if that doesn't interest you, wear whatever makes you happy! Suits, cocktail dresses, evening gowns/tuxes all welcome.

Are children invited?

Right now, we are not planning to host children at the wedding. If you plan to bring your little ones to the area, let us know and we can talk about how to accommodate.

How do I get to the wedding venue from where I am staying?

Answer

We have a shuttle bus that will pick up and drop off guests at 2 locations: Anna's Lake House (10303 East Lake Road, Hammondsport, NY) AND in the Penn Yan Village (which is located near all of the hotels). There are no ride-share apps currently available, but there are many local taxi and limo companies available. If you pefer to book your own transport, feel free to reach out to these local companies in advance to arrange a driver for the day: Finger Lakes Transport, LLC Finger Lakes Limousine Fitzgerald Brothers Transportation Pico's Transit Authority Main Street Drivers -- they operate as a personal designated driver and will drive you around in your own car for the day/night!
