All wedding events take place around Keuka Lake, where Anna and Kevin have been hanging out for the last 15 years. Keuka Lake is one of the eleven finger lakes in this region, and is surrounded by wineries, orchards, markets, waterfalls, breweries and lots of lake activities. The Friday Welcome Party (5pm - 8pm) will be hosted at Bully Hill on the west side of Keuka Lake, with panoramic views and an art gallery onsite. The wedding itself (ceremony and reception) will be hosted at The Mansion on Keuka Lake which is a historic Greek Revival home overlooking the bluff and west branch of Keuka Lake. It was built in 1838 by John Nicholas Rose who built the Mansion as a wedding gift for his wife. The Mansion's Ionic columns were made by enclosing large tree trunks in brick and then covering the brick with stucco. The original name of the mansion was "The Esperanza" derived from the word "Hope" in Latin. According to oral traditions, it was also a station on the Underground Railroad. It means so much to us that you will be there, and we hope you will enjoy the lake and countryside as much as this historic site for our wedding!
