Maid of Honor
Anna's little sister and lifelong best friend, Gina loves dogs, hates gluten (seriously, she's allergic), and knows how to work a dance floor. She's a little nervous about her speech, so please tell her she did a great job. Ask her about her adventures as a travel nurse or her cockalier, Ernie.
Best Man
Jack’s buddy since ’93. Although he rode Jack’s coattails at the start, Jack and Anna have welcomed Joe and Morgan’s (Jack & Anna’s sister-in-law) guidance during the wedding planning process. Joe claims getting married was the best thing he has ever done, and Jack thinks this will ring true for him as well. You will see Joe (and Morgan) giving Gina a run for her money on the dance floor. Ask Joe about the time Jack saved his life on the D.C. subway.
Bridesmaid
Jack's sister and the bride's soon-to-be sister-in-law, Maureen loves a good rom com, molding young minds as a dedicated special ed teacher, and a good glass of wine. We also recently learned that she loves lions during one of our regular family game nights. Ask her about her favorite students.
Assistant to the Best Man
Although Tommy thinks starting a career, moving into his first apartment, and driving a Jeep warrants him maturing to a “Tom,” he will always be Tommy (aka The Boomsicle Boy) to Jack. Tommy enjoys executive workouts, talking Summer House with Anna, and getting nervous walking down the aisle at his brothers’ weddings. Ask Tommy if he misses his roommate (Mom).
Bridesmaid
One of the bride's best friends from law school, Alana is a Chicago native who affectionately refers to Anna as her little sister. Alana loves her rescue dog, Owen (who Anna and Gina fostered before he found his forever home!) and luxury vacations to resorts that do things like horse therapy and crystal readings. Ask her about how weird Northwestern law school was.
Groomsman
Jack’s college friend and Milwaukee buddy. Although Matt is Southside-Chicago-Beverly tough, Jack is pretty sure Matt has stayed in Milwaukee just to be close to the groom. Jack enjoys inviting himself to Matt’s golf club and sitting next to him at Marquette games (as their significant others often times bypass the games). Ask Matt how tall he is.
Bridesmaid
The bride's cousin, Anna and Christine regularly got in trouble on family vacations for only talking to each other. Christine is very adventurous, and moved across the country from New York to California to pursue her dream of acting. Ask her about her celebrity sightings.
Groomsman
Pat and Jack go back to their college days, but their relationship really blossomed post-graduation. With Pat’s then girlfriend (now wife) living in Chicago and their other friends going on dates (with their now wives), these two hot guys hung out almost too much during these dire times – which even lead to them becoming Northwestern football season ticket holders one year. Ask Pat if you should go to Toast or Comet Café for brunch on Sunday.
Bridesmaid
Anna's very first law school friend, Danielle and Anna met at the ice cream social during orientation and were immediately inseparable. Danielle and Anna have stayed in an Amsterdam houseboat together, climbed a waterfall in Puerto Rico together, and eaten many NYC bagels together. A Detroit native, tell Danielle you don't actually think Michigan is that pure and see what happens.
Groomsman
From childhood rivals to high school buddies to Marquette brothers, Shaun and Jack have shared many life experiences together. Jack has more pictures of Shaun on his phone than his entire family combined, but Jack is becoming jealous of the bond Shaun and Tommy Fleming have created over the decades. Ask Shaun about the best line Tommy Fleming ever said.
Bridesmaid
The bride's best friend from high school, Jackie and Anna met in their very first class and instantly clicked. It was an art class that everyone besides Jackie and Anna took very seriously. Jackie loves live music, going with the flow, and moving to Chicago as soon as Anna moves back to Milwaukee. Ask her to tell you the story about how she talked a security guard into letting Jack into a Lizzo concert.
Groomsman
Pat is Jack’s college friend with many titles to his name. From Green Egg savant to table maker apprentice, Pat’s most recent claim to fame is back-to-back Jackapalooza costume contest champion. Does he have a three-peat in him? Ask Pat who earned MVP of the wedding weekend (jk, he already knows it’s him).
Usher
Ryan and Jack’s relationship started in 7th grade football with Ryan asking Jack before every play, “does this go to the right or the left?”. The two blossomed into roommates and once watched 64 episodes of Game of Thrones in one week while both enjoying a “grace period” between jobs. Ask Ryan anything…no really, ask him anything and you will see why everyone enjoys this beautiful soul’s company.
Usher
Jeff and Jack go back to high school where Jack quickly learned no one loves a competitive atmosphere more than Jeff. Golf has become the main “excuse” for their recent gatherings. They even snuck in a round at a nearby Lake Geneva course before Jack met the love of his life – clearly a sign they need to golf even more. Ask Jeff about the time he, Shaun, and Jack ran a marathon.
Usher
Jack’s younger cousin, Tony has idolized the groom since birth. This has rubbed off onto Tony’s work ethic as he quickly worked up the ranks at The Wisconsin Club to become head of valet & shuttle services. Even though The Wisconsin Club has lost the father-of-the-bride’s key fab, no blame shall be placed on Tony’s name as the incident predates his time at the helm. Ask Tony why his name is saved as “Sid” in Jack’s phone.
