Hotel

Flight
For those flying in, RDU is our regional airport. A small but mighty airport, it is served by all major airlines and is a convenient option. RDU is located in between Raleigh and Durham. It is about 25-30 minute drive or taxi to the Holiday Inn Express in Hillsborough.
Train
For those in the Baltimore/DC area who don't want to drive, Amtrak is also a great option. The 79 Carolinian line runs to downtown Durham. It is about a 6 hour ride from DC to Durham. This line doesn't offer private rooms but it does offer business class for a little more luxury! If you want to get off the train earlier (as the bride likes to do) you can take the 41 Floridian line to Raleigh. Consider getting in a day or two early and explore what Raleigh has to offer! We've heard it is worth the splurge for a private room. Booking early will get you the best price, train tickets runs about ~$120 round trip closer to the date.
