Mount Juliet sits on 500 acres of land and has two accommodation options: the Manor House and Hunter's Yard. All events (except for the wedding ceremony) will be taking place on the Mount Juliet property, so we recommend booking accommodation at either of these places for the weekend. The Manor House: We have exclusively hired out the Manor House for the weekend! There are 32 rooms and these are available first come, first serve. We want it to be a gathering place for friends and family for the weekend, so please come relax in one of the drawing rooms and have a pint at the bar whenever you please! Hunter's Yard: Hunter’s Yard is a newer addition to the estate and takes the ideals and attention to detail that have made the Manor House so special for so long, and channels them into an entirely new type of residence with 93 rooms. It houses the noteworthy low-key restaurant, The Hound, as well as the The Saddle Bar, which is a contemporary spot to catch a drink at before exploring the grounds or the nearby town of Kilkenny. The room block has been booked out and Mount Juliet is now at limited capacity for the weekend. Please reach out to the reservations team to request a room: reservations@mountjuliet.ie

Rental Car
A car is a great way to explore Ireland! The countryside and coastlines are the most beautiful and special parts of Ireland, and we recommend a car as the best way to see it. For those who will travel by car to Mount Juliet, it's an easy drive that consists of mainly motorways. A few tips for driving: 1. Unless you a skilled stick-shift driver, make sure to rent an automatic transmission. The "default" car in Ireland is often manual, so be conscious to specify this with the rental agency. 2. In Ireland, they drive on the left side of the road. A tip to remember is that the steering wheel should always be in the middle of the road.
Flight
Ireland has two airports: Dublin Airport and Shannon Airport. If you plan on only coming for the weekend's wedding events, we recommend the Dublin airport as it is the closest to the venue. If you are extending your trip and traveling around Ireland, or plan on exploring the west coast, Shannon Airport is a great place to fly in and/or out of!
