Please RSVP by 5.19.25, although we recommend you book rooms earlier to ensure your preferred room is available. We invite you to RSVP via this website (RSVP page).
Please arrive at 3:30pm for the ceremony. You can find shade on the patio behind the main lodge while you wait to be seated.
Cocktail/garden attire. We suggest that men wear a suit, sports jacket, or dress shirt with tie and women wear a midi- or knee-length dress or dressy separates. Please refrain from wearing white.
Please see the "Travel" page for information about booking with our Sun Mountain Lodge discount.
The ceremony will take place outside on the lawn. Cocktail hour and reception will be in the air-conditioned indoors with an adjacent deck. See "Schedule" page for more info.
Winthrop is on the eastern side of the North Cascades and tends to be hot and dry in July. Wildfire smoke is possible in summer, so we aim to keep our outdoor ceremony short and sweet. The reception will be held indoors, but we hope to be able to enjoy the adjacent deck as the sun goes down. All rooms at the resort are equipped with AC.
Please see the "Schedule" page for the event timeline. It is most important that you arrive early for the 3:30pm ceremony! The reception will end at 10:00pm.
All events will be held on Sun Mountain Lodge property. The welcome party on the main lawn is right across the parking lot from the lodges. The ceremony and reception are held at the main lodge, a short walk from the Gardner and Robinson lodges.
Parking is free for hotel guests and visitors in the main Sun Mountain Lodge parking lot.
Welcome dinner on Wednesday and Reception dinner on Thursday. We are still formulating the menu, so please reach out to us at annandchris7.17.25@gmail.com with any dietary restrictions.
Sun Mountain Lodge features two restaurants. Cabins on Patterson Lake are also equipped with full kitchens (please call the resort to reserve a cabin with our discount as they are not included in the room block). Further dining options are available in Winthrop.
We are planning a small and intimate wedding, so please only bring the guests named on your invitation. Thank you for your understanding.
Yes! The cabins at Patterson Lake allow dogs. To book a cabin, please call the resort directly and reference our discount code (see "Travel" page). However, dogs are not permitted at the ceremony or reception.
We are doing an unplugged wedding ceremony so that guests are not distracted by their devices and the professional wedding photographer can get the best possible shots without the interference of other flashes or mobile screens. A guest GoPro camera will be provided for the reception so everyone has the opportunity to snap some photos from their view!
We will post and email a link to the album once complete!
We do not expect gifts, as your presence is the ultimate gift. If you wish to contribute to our future home fund, please visit the "Registry" page.
