We welcome gifts from our registry and virtual/physical Red Envelopes! We will provide Red Envelopes in your wedding invite, at your reception table, and a virtual one on our Zola registry. Red envelope (Li Xi in Vietnamese) is a gift of money inserted into an ornate red pocket of paper. Wrapping lucky money in red envelopes is expected to bestow more happiness and blessings on the receivers. They are given on some important occasions, such as Lunar New Year and weddings in the Vietnamese culture as a way to send good wishes. The color red symbolizes energy, happiness, and good luck in Vietnamese cultures.
