Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding is a formal, dark, winter, black tie vibe so please dress warm with deep tones. If you have any questions the bride and groom would be happy to give ideas. Remember there will be snow and ice at the venue so please wear treaded snow shoes/boots. If in doubt, please wear black!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says "and Guest" then yes! If not, we prefer if it was just you. 😊 It would be great to have everyone bring a plus one but unfortunately the venue space is limited and we will have a set number of dinner plates.

Can I use my own phone/camera to record or take pictures?

Answer

The family has provided a professional photographer for the event. It is required through contract that no other photos be taken by family/guests during the ceremony, reception or other designated photo times. It is very important that there are no phones or cameras during the ceremony! Guests will have opportunities to have photos taken with the bride and groom from the photographer during set photo times. The bride and groom will distribute wedding photos once received by our photographer.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Winter weather can be unpredictable so plan for travel from town to take an extra 45 minutes - 1 hour. The ceremony will begin at 1:00pm!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking is somewhat limited, so please consider carpooling if possible. Snow 4x4s will be at the venue to shuttle guests from their vehicle if necessary.

Do you have any hotel/lodging recommendations?

Answer

We will not be providing any pre-booked reservations so lodging will be up to you and your families. We do recommend booking as soon as possible to ensure a room/cabin for the weekend. All our lodging options are linked in the Travel tab.

Do we have to order from the online registry?

Answer

Not at all! Please feel free to use the registry as a guide if you would like to use different stores, websites, and/or products.
