Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Anna Janicek and Atlin Johnson
Albuquerque is a fantastic city with lots to do. It is why we live here! Feel free to ask us if you have any questions; we love to share our city with others. There is no shortage of great things to do and places to eat. Fall is the best season in New Mexico!

Sandia Peak Tramway

30 Tramway Road Northeast, Albuquerque, NM 87122

An Albuquerque classic: a scenic ride in a tram car to the top of the mountains.

Old Town ABQ

Old Town Road Northwest, Albuquerque, NM 87104

The oldest part of town, established in 1706. Full of fun local shops!

ABQ BioPark Aquarium

2601 Central Avenue Northwest, Albuquerque, NM 87104

See the Botanical Gardens and Aquarium, if you buy a combo ticket to the Zoo you can ride a shuttle between the parks!

Tingley Beach

Albuquerque, NM 87104

A true forest in the middle of the city. One of our favorite places to go hiking in town. Stroll through the cottonwoods by the river. Beautiful in the fall and FREE!

Tinkertown Museum

121 Sandia Crest Road, Sandia Park, NM 87047

A quirky museum in the woods outside of town. A good stop if you want to drive up to the top of Sandia Crest.

Santa Fe

Santa Fe, NM

A great day trip to see the sights of Santa Fe, one of the oldest cities in the country, and the highest elevation state capital. You can drive or take the train from Albuquerque.

ABQ Balloon Fiesta

4401 Alameda Boulevard Northeast, Albuquerque, NM 87113

October 3rd-11th, 2026. A week after the wedding, but one of the coolest events you can go to. The most photographed event in the world!
