As crazy as it sounds at 27 years old, we have actually known each other for 15 years. We went to middle school together and shared some of the same seventh grade classes (although use of the word "know" is loose at this point). During this time Dalton developed a huge crush on Anna. To proclaim his seventh grade love, he went out of his way to find out Anna's favorite candy, which at the time was candy necklaces. On Anna's 13th birthday, he walked up to the lockers, gave her a big bag of candy necklaces, and promptly walked away without another word. Fast forward to senior year of high school - we are in several of the same classes again and start to become friends. We would always somehow sit next to each other and paired together for assignments. Eventually, even our friend groups became intertwined, and we were seeing each other outside of school as well. After half a school year of friendship, Dalton officially asked Anna on a first date in December of 2016. 10 years, countless drives between Fort Worth and Starkville, thousands of hours of phone calls, and two cats later - here we are! We are so excited for this next chapter, and cannot wait to share it with all of you.
