His Story On February 3, 2016, we met for the first time after talking online. I was looking for a girl with long brown hair, boots and a sweater. I saw another girl, matching the same description, struggling to find change for her parking meter. I then decided to lend her some spare coins. She turned down my offer, and acted as if I was a complete stranger. Standing on the sidewalk feeling foolish, a tall beautiful girl started to approach me. This had to be the right girl. We had beers at Wicked Weed, which then led to pizza at Barley's. Towards the end of the night, I felt the urge to dance with her even when no one else was dancing. What started off as a night of feeling foolish approaching the wrong girl, eventually led to a first kiss with the "one" right girl I would kiss the rest of my life. Our Story Four months later, we decided to travel to Iceland together. What could be a better way to get to know someone than flying to a remote country and living in a van together for ten days? After spending two hundred and forty hours within arms distance of each other, in the middle of nowhere with limited showers, we decided we were right for each other. In fact, we were perfect for each other. Her Story Six months later, we went on what I thought was an impromptu hike. Nick had been coming home in dirty hiking boots and a mischievous smile for the week prior. It was close to Christmas and I was not sure what he was up to. Little did I know, he went on this 10 mile hike the day before, searching for the perfect spot. We reached the fire tower on top of Mt Cammerer and it was gorgeous. He found us a rock to sit on and pulled out a couple beers and snacks. All of a sudden, he got down on one knee and told me, the past few months had been the best of his life. He asked me to spend the rest of his life with him. He proposed to me, and I said yes. I could not be happier to continue this life adventure with my lover and my best friend. I am one lucky girl.
