Half Day Kayak Tour

9:00 am - 1:00 pm

Keweenaw Adventure Company
155 Gratiot Street, Copper Harbor, MI 49918

Moisture Wicking Clothing, Bathing Suits, SUNSCREEN, Long Sleeve Water Layer

We're in the process of planning a half-day kayak tour along the shores of Lake Superior in Copper Harbor. Cost is yet to be determined, but kayaks + PFDs will be provided. You bring your own clothing, lunch, water, and cameras. I believe wetsuits are available for rent if it's cold enough. This is an amazing experience and you'll get to see things you'd never get to see from land, Lake Superior is gorgeous! No kayaking experience is necessary, but you should be in good physical condition to participate in this trip. This event is weather dependent and will be canceled if high wind/waves are present or a storm is in the area.

Ceremony

3:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Semi Formal Attire: We'll be on the sandy beach so be mindful of that when choosing footwear

This address is for the Eagle River Inn, which is right next to where we'll have the ceremony. Look for the bend in the road where there are two trees on the sandy beach where the altar and chairs will be set up. It would be best to carpool to this location, as there isn't a ton of parking here. Parking will be along the road as this is a public beach. In case of inclement weather, we will use the community center in Eagle River.

Reception

5:00 pm - 11:30 pm

Copper Harbor Community Center
220 Gratiot St, Copper Harbor, MI 49918

Semi-Formal: Dresses, Fancy Jumpsuits, Tuxes, Suits, and Your Dancin' Shoes! The ground will be grass so rethink stilettos!

Parking is somewhat limited in the town of Copper Harbor, so please consider carpooling! Do not click on map - it gives you the wrong location, please manually enter the address. You will not get cell phone reception here - closest cell reception is driving up Brockway mountain. In between the Ceremony and Reception, we recommend exploring the beaches, waterfalls, and natural beauty of the Keweenaw Peninsula. We ask that you please show up no earlier than 5pm to the reception so that we can have everything set up by the time you arrive. :) We will be having a smokehouse style buffet dinner, and in order to minimize food waste and also ensure we have enough food for everyone, please select a protein option so we can plan accordingly. :)

Afterparty at Ziks Bar

Sat, Sep 14, 2019, 11:00 pm - Sun, Sep 15, 2019, 12:00 am

A Copper Harbor Classic. Where Will and Anna spent a lot of their after-work evenings and their love bloomed the first summer they met.
