There is always something happening! There will probably be some hockey, basketball, wrestling, etc. going on that you can check out on campus.
Wisconsin State Capitol
Check out the Capitol building in Downtown Madison along with the surrounding shops and restaurants in Capitol Square! You can get a full tour of the building, hike up to the dome of the building, or just walk around and take in the history.

Madison Children's Museum
Really fun museum/discovery center for kids (0-14) and families! Fun play rooms, art studios, and be sure to go up to the roof to check out the bunnies, chickens, turtles, and more! (Fun fact: The bride volunteers here in her spare time!)
