It is with a heavy-heart and an abundance of caution that we are opting to postpone our wedding from 09/12/2020 to 09/03/2021. Due to the current circumstances surrounding COVID-19 and shelter-in-place, in combination with current timelines for re-opening the state of Illinois, we found it to be in our best interest to not take any chances. This decision was not taken lightly, and we would prefer to be able to commemorate this occasion with everyone in an environment where we can all feel safe traveling, congregating, and celebrating. We hope that you and yours are healthy and safe in this time, and we’re thrilled to see you all next September, for an “I do -- take two”. With Love, Anna and Kyle
The two of us met at a pre-College get-together arranged by a number of incoming Freshman at Loyola University Chicago - we connected and stayed in touch in the months coming into the school year. We got to know each other well, going on dates through the summer of 2012.
Kyle (& Friends) surprised Anna at the Echo Spot at Loyola University Chicago's Madonna della Strada Chapel - a spot they had walked past many times in their years of undergrad spent on campus. Anna had believed this was originally just supposed to be a walk with a close friend and their dog - to be followed with a small get-together to watch a Bears game. Little did she know, Kyle had the ring in his pocket the whole time and a large number of friends were strategically hidden out of view, waiting for the question to be popped.
