The Tuscan sunset spilled over Florence, painting the city in shades of pink and gold. We’d climbed the path to the Piazzale Michelangelo, slightly out of breath, ready to watch the sun go down. We packed a small snack made up of local cheeses, fresh bread, olives and a bottle of wine. Forgot the bottle opener, broke the top off, and chugged as elegantly as Americans in Italy do while a guitarist played a love song. And right there, overlooking the rooftops and the Arno, Nick turned to me and said those words that changed everything, "I love you". In that moment, it felt like the whole world went quiet, as if even Florence paused to listen. Now, years later, we’re returning to that same spot to say “I do.” We can’t wait to share this full-circle moment with all of you, surrounded by the same view that started it all. The city of love, the sunset, all the people who mean the world to us, and the food! Join us to continue our story exactly where it began on September 12th!
