We're Getting Married!

Did I find you or did you find me? Well, we've largely decided that he found her. In the fall of 2017, Zack started a new job and by chance was seated across from Anj. However, unbeknownst to him, he was filling the seat of Anj’s best friend who had just left the company – big shoes to fill. The two did not speak for 3 months – sitting across from each other in absolute silence. Her, still mourning the loss of her best friend and her array of hot sauces; him, stealing glances and messaging the girl sitting to his right about how much he was in awe of his cubemate across from him. In early December, Zack finally worked up the courage to talk to Anj – first casually within the context of office coworkers. However, around mid-January Anj was out of the office for a few days home sick. Zack, taking notice of her absence messaged her on Instagram to find out why she wasn’t in the office. “So, you’re not avoiding me any longer being ‘sick’?” he said. “Not much to avoid minus your silence!” she replied. And it was within that moment Zack knew that he had met his match. From there the talking continued, and the two bonded over their love of bourbon, traveling, horror movies and ramen. And when Anj eventually got a new job, it was clear that their relationship would continue to grow along with their love for each other. As a great many things do, their relationship started by accident; however, it will continue with purpose.
