Anik is Bengali Hindu and immigrated to America from Chittagong, Bangladesh with his family when he was 15. Rebecca's parents immigrated to America when they were teens as well, as her mom's family is from Caracas, Venezuela and her dad's family is from Moscow, Russia. Her mom was Catholic and her dad was Jewish, but she was raised Jewish and her mom converted for Rebecca's 13th birthday religious celebration (bat mitzvah).

Yes, that's totally okay! We understand the changing two outfits in one day may not be feasible for some people, and the attire request is mostly for the change from colorful/gold traditional to formal black and white for Rebecca and Anik. The attire change is also for those who wish to wear traditional wedding attire for the Hindu ceremony, and then more formal/cocktail style for the Jewish wedding. Cocktail or formal is perfect for both ceremonies.
Our Jewish ceremony and welcome party are outdoors. All other events are indoors.
