In quest of Latin Dance, Rebecca hearted Anik's picture of Peru's Humantay Lake from a backpacking trip. At the time, Anik was working 13-hours, 6 days in Beaumont, TX as a plant engineer and Rebecca was a senior in college online. Then Rebecca and Anik spent their first date in Memorial Park, as Anik provided a listening ear to energetic Rebecca. Moving from hectic megacity Houston to the mountains of Colorado to countryside Pennsylvania, they eventually found their way back to Texas and cannot wait to get married here with what life has taught them is their greatest treasure, their closest family and friends.
