Boutique hotel that donated a portion of profits to charity: water, supports local artists, and is very involved in volunteering and giving back in the local community. Room rate of $99 (normal rate is $159). They have a van and a trolley that we are hoping to shepherd guests back and forth to festivities :)

Southwest flies into Hobby, most "big" airlines fly into Intercontinental. Either will get you here! Hobby is a bit closer to "town".
